Three: The Message

We see a lot of patriotic and political apparel that is absent of any real design element.  We don’t agree with simply throwing words on a shirt and giving it out.  But largely it is being done.  While we support many of the messages conveyed about police, society, the military and politics, those messages do not exist in a vacuum separate from art.  Where is the art in the message?  If you are putting something on your body that is devoid of art, design or creativity then why not simply wear a miniature billboard?  Having a significant message doesn’t mean that we can’t be artistic or creative.   At GRMTAC we feel a distinct responsibility to give you a thought AND a concept; message + art.  Don’t settle for just a shirt with words.
